Rev. J. Wayne Clark
President & CEO
Wayne became President and CEO in 2019. Before joining the Foundation, he worked almost 23 years at Hendrix College serving most of the time as Chaplain, but also served as Dean of Students, and Associate Vice President of Development. He was ordained as a United Methodist minister in 1986 and received his degrees from Hendrix College and Perkins School of Theology at SMU. He served as pastor of churches in Dallas, Magnolia, Pine Bluff, and The United Kingdom. Wayne and his wife, Rynnett, have two grown daughters, Nichola and Natalie.
Clarence E. Trice
Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Clarence E. Trice joined the Foundation as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2009 and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2017. Clarence is responsible for the Foundation's accounting, administrative, investment, probate, and trust activities. He is a CPA with more than 30 years of experience performing and supervising audit, review, taxation, and advisory services. Clarence and his wife Kimberly are members of Highland Valley United Methodist Church in Little Rock. He has two grown sons, Trent and Matthew.
Rev. Lynn Kilbourne
Director of Development
Rev. Lynn Kilbourne is the Director of Development for The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas. As a 2006 Foundation Scholar, she served on the Board of Directors for the Foundation before joining the Foundation staff. Lynn was ordained as a United Methodist elder in 2011 and received degrees from Henderson State University and Duke Divinity School.
She has served in ministry for 12 years as the Associate Pastor of Bryant FUMC and Conway FUMC, and the Senior Pastor of North Little Rock FUMC. She serves on the Board of Ordained Ministry and the Episcopacy Committee of the Arkansas Annual Conference. She is a past chairperson of the United Methodist Clergywomen of Arkansas, has taught at the Hendrix Course of Study, and is a delegate to the 2020 General Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Lynn and her husband, Rev. Nathan Kilbourne, have two daughters, Eleanor and Lydia.
Amy Anderson
Northwest Arkansas Development Officer
Amy Anderson is the Northwest Arkansas Development Officer for The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas. Originally from Fayetteville and a lifelong Methodist, Amy recently moved back to the area after spending 10 years serving overseas with the U.S. Foreign Service. While in high school, Amy held leadership positions in the United Methodist North Arkansas Conference Council on Youth Ministries. She brings to the Foundation experience in school admissions, development, and advancement work.
Amy received her undergraduate degree from Hendrix College and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She enjoys singing in the choir at Sequoyah United Methodist Church. Amy lives in Fayetteville with her two children, Jake and Lily, and two dogs, Banjo and Jessie.
Rev. Mackey Yokem
Director of Leadership Ministries
Mackey is a native of Little Rock and grew up in St. Luke United Methodist Church. He graduated from Hendrix College and received a Master of Theology degree from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. He retired in July 2016 after 43 years of active service as a United Methodist pastor. His appointments were to the local church, District Superintendent, Assistant to the Bishop, and Director of Connectional Ministries, all in the Arkansas Annual Conference.
Mackey and his wife Cindy are the parents of four children, Erin Yokem Weber, Jenny Yokem Kyle, Grace Ann Yokem Depper, and Taylor Pearce Yokem. Mackey and Cindy are the grandparents of Abbott Caroline Kyle, Graham Bennett Kyle, John Mackey Weber, Mattie Kathleen Weber, Ruth Helen Depper, Anna Margaret Depper, and George William Depper.
Kristin Hartman
Director of Accounting
When Kristin Hartman joined the Foundation, she merged her background of banking and the non-profit sector. In 2001, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Although her early careers were in finance and banking, Kristin followed her heart into the nonprofit arena. In 2011, she began at the Foundation as Account Manager, and was promoted to Director of Accounting in 2019. Beyond the workday, Kristin finds joy in orchestrating family adventures with her three children.
Emily Madden
Account Manager
Emily Madden joined MFA as the Account Manager in February of 2019. Emily was born and raised in Little Rock where she currently lives with her husband, Jeff, and their two children, Mya and Sam. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Emily enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Cathy Hall
Office & Hospitality Manager
Cathy came to the Foundation in January of 2020 from the Arkansas Annual Conference, bringing many years of experience working with laity, clergy, and local congregations from around the state through her work in the Center for Vitality and previous roles at Camp Aldersgate, Mount Eagle, and Hendrix College. Cathy's adult children, Corey Bacon, Drew Bacon Benham, and bonus son Brian Benham, live here in Little Rock. She is a member of Pulaski Heights UMC. She enjoys cooking, sharing meals and meaningful conversation, traveling, and spending as much time as possible with her two grandchildren, family, and friends.
Rev. C.E. McAdoo
Gift Officer
Rev. Dr. McAdoo joined the Foundation as Gift Officer in June 2023. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Little Rock’s Philander Smith College and Master of Divinity from St. Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, Missouri. He received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Philander Smith College in Little Rock.
Rev. Dr. McAdoo has preached in congregations nationwide and is a proud U.S. Army veteran and Master Mason. He is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity, NAACP, and Little Rock Christian Ministerial Alliance.
Orea Meeks
Accounting
Orea Meeks joined the Foundation in 2022 as an Accounting Associate. His main responsibilities are check writing and managing some of the many spreadsheets that keep the Foundation running smoothly. He graduated from the University of Arkansas in the spring of 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He is pursuing an MBA in Information Management from the University of Central Arkansas. Orea spends his free time playing volleyball or going on trips with his friends.
