About Craig O'Neill
Craig O’Neill has worked in radio or television for over 50 years. Almost 52 to be exact. He has been married to his award-winning artist wife jane for 50 years on August 6th (never had a fight. . .they’re called lectures). Craig has two adult children making their way in the world. His oldest is Abby Kerby, who is the manager of the Clinton Children’s Library in Little Rock. His youngest is son, Thomas is an artist, creating jewelry using crystals found near Mt. Ida. Craig is also the grandfather to two wonderful girls. Bella Kerby is 17 and attends central high school where she embarrasses easily when her grandfather loudly sings the alma mater. Granddaughter Amelia Kerby is 13 and a student at Pulaski Heights Middle School. She is working to be a major Tik Tok celebrity.
In the short span of 52 years, Craig has:
Been no.1 in radio
Garnered favorite deejay, sportscaster, newscaster, tv personality, and most admired Arkansan from the Arkansas Times.
Played at The White House.
Entertained in Hollywood
Was a regular on the ESPN and ESPN Outdoors tv network
Hosted 36 roasts
Emceed over 9,000 events
And helped raise an estimated $40-50 million for Arkansas charities.
When given the go-ahead, he will once again start exclusively visiting schools to read stories and share the joy of reading with children and young adults.
Craig is Episcopalian but appreciates and knows the joy of a Methodist-covered dish. Food tastes better in a Methodist church. Ah, but only an Episcopalian knows the wine to go with it.
