Grants
In 2023, MFA continued to make a dramatic impact on the Methodist Church in Arkansas. Over $1.5 million in grants were made at the discretion of the Foundation’s Board of Directors to high-priority areas including leadership development, human welfare, clergy financial education, and Conference institutions.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 21, 2025)—The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas has selected Grace Rogers and LaToya Shepherd as 2025 Seminary Scholars. The MFA Seminary Scholarships will cover the full tuition of the United Methodist seminaries at which they are enrolled.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 1, 2025)—The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas’s next International Study Cohort will travel to Taizé, France, April 13 through 22, 2026, for a five-day immersive experience among the monastic community there. The itinerary also includes two days in Paris.
