The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas's next Learning Zoom is Thursday, May 7, at 10:00 a.m. This quarter’s event will be a Dementia Friends Training session, led by Kimberly Kinder, DPT, BCPA, interim executive director of Alzheimer’s Arkansas. As always, this MFA Learning Zoom is free and open to all.
Dementia Friends Training provides an opportunity to make our communities more compassionate and supportive. The program is designed to help people better understand dementia and how it affects individuals and families. During this session, participants learn five key messages about dementia, gain insight into what it can be like to live with the disease, and discover simple, practical ways to make a difference.
