Free Learning Zoom from the Methodist Foundation for Arkansas to Focus on Capital Campaigns for Local Churches

Nov. 12 online seminar to feature fundraising professional Jan Davis and Rev. Nathan Kilbourne

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (October 20, 2026)— Thinking about a capital campaign for your church? Join the Methodist Foundation for Arkansas for our next quarterly Learning Zoom, set for Thursday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m. Central time.

This Learning Zoom, which is free and open to all, will feature fundraising professional Jan Davis and Rev. Nathan Kilbourne, who last year led their church, First United Methodist of Conway, through a successful $1.2 million capital campaign to pay off debt, address deferred maintenance, and grow the church’s endowment. Hear firsthand what they did, what they learned along the way, what they would do differently, and what they wish they had known from the start. They’ll share practical advice and insights to help other churches prepare for a successful campaign.

Davis has experience in directing giving programs for both the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the University of Central Arkansas. During this campaign, she also drew from her extensive experience in project management, which she gained during her tenures at Acxiom Corporation and Alltel Information Services. Kilbourne was appointed as senior pastor of First UMC Conway in January 2023, and brought his stewardship experiences from churches he served previously to help his current church succeed in this campaign.

Bring your questions and learn from their experience! Registration is available here; the confirmation email you receive after you complete the form will include the Zoom link.
