‘10 Reasons to Think About Endowments’: Methodist Foundation for Arkansas Offers Final Quarterly Learning Zoom of 2025

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (October 16, 2025)—The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas (MFA) on Thursday, November 6 will present “10 Reasons to Think About Endowments,” the final installment in its 2025 Quarterly Learning Zoom series. MFA’s President and CEO the Rev. J. Wayne Clark will lead the session, which runs from 10 to 11 a.m. CST. Participation is free with pre-registration.

Endowments provide sustained support for a church, ministry, or nonprofit organization’s mission, so simply raising awareness of endowed funds can help solidify the long-term financial health and sustainability of a ministry, facility, or goal, strengthening the mission for generations to come. The permanent source of funding provided by endowments will grow over time and enable bold plans for the future, leading to a lasting legacy.

“In our work here at the Foundation, we get to see the best of what an endowment can do,” said Clark. “We watch the results of people’s collective generosity come to fruition and make a positive impact on things they care deeply about. With this Learning Zoom, we hope to help those successes spread to other churches and organizations.”

Register for “10 Reasons to Think About Endowments” here. The link to participate will be emailed to registrants shortly before the session.
