The Foundation is excited to announce an upcoming webinar from The Caring Congregation to take your care ministries to a new level.
The two-day seminar, scheduled for January 21-22, 2022, will be led by the Rev. Karen Lampe, who successfully developed and implemented this ministry throughout the country, and includes step-by-step training on how to establish an effective care ministry at your church using volunteer laity. Focus areas include foundational training in areas of theology, prayer, boundaries, pastoral listening/guidance, visitation, and caring for those who are frail and dying.
This webinar series is open to church leaders and laity interested in growing their care ministry. The goal of Caring Congregations is to help you receive training that will help you create and develop an excellent care ministry in your church and community. The Foundation will cover the cost of attendance and all materials as we strive to fulfill our mission to strengthen and expand United Methodist ministries in Arkansas.
