NYT Bestselling Author Nadia Bolz-Weber to Visit Hendrix College

CONWAY, Ark. (June 5, 2025)—Nadia Bolz-Weber, a New York Times bestselling author and ordained Lutheran pastor, will speak in Staples Auditorium on the campus of Hendrix College Monday, November 3, 2025, at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Members of the Methodist Foundation for Arkansas Bishops’ Club gathered Friday, May 16, 2025, at Camp Aldersgate in Little Rock. They were pleased to hear from keynote speaker The Honorable Mark Leverett, who serves as State District Judge for District 31, Little Rock 3, but who received the invitation to address the Bishops’ Club primarily because of another leadership role he holds: Chair of the Oscar Washington Jr. Educational Fund.

2025 MFA Seminary Scholars

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 21, 2025)—The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas has selected Grace Rogers and LaToya Shepherd as 2025 Seminary Scholars. The MFA Seminary Scholarships will cover the full tuition of the United Methodist seminaries at which they are enrolled.

MFA Announces April 2026 Clergy Journey to Taizé, France

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 1, 2025)—The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas’s next International Study Cohort will travel to Taizé, France, April 13 through 22, 2026, for a five-day immersive experience among the monastic community there. The itinerary also includes two days in Paris.
