Total for first nine months of 2025 surpasses last year’s 12-month total
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (October 22, 2025)—The Grant Administration Committee of the Methodist Foundation for Arkansas (MFA) Board of Directors has awarded a total of 25 grants across its three monthly meetings of the third quarter, bringing total granted funds to more than $1.9 million for the year to date, surpassing last year’s 12-month total of just over $1.8 million.

MFA’s President and CEO the Rev. J. Wayne Clark will lead the session, which runs from 10 to 11 a.m. CST. Participation is free with pre-registration.
Duplicate sessions in Little Rock and Rogers to address clergy-specific issues
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (October 15, 2025)—The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas will present two free opportunities in December 2025 for United Methodist clergy to receive updates on tax issues specific to their profession, including how provisions of the new “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” affect them.
In October, we celebrate Pastor Appreciation Month as a way to honor clergy for their faithful leadership, care, and service. As a small token, the Methodist Foundation for Arkansas is offering $75 grants to assist congregations in the Arkansas UMC in recognizing their pastor during Pastor Appreciation Month. Churches that have multiple clergy appointed to serve may apply to receive this amount per pastor.
